Review Review Neal & Wolf RITUAL Daily Cleansing Shampoo, HARMONY Intensive Care Treatment and SILK Smoothing Blow-dry Balm

I was lucky enough to be sent these products to try by the
lovely people at Neal & Wolf.
I hadn’t heard of Neal & Wolf until I came across them
online, but after a little research I’ve since found out that Neal & Wolf
was created by Neil Capstick who has worked in the hair industry for over 20
years.
There are only 10 products in their range and I was lucky
enough to try three of them.
You can check out their website here
The products that I was sent can actually be bought as part
of a gift set – The Smooth Trio Gift set for £29.9, which saves you £4.90 on
buying them individually.

RITUAL Daily Cleansing Shampoo, 250ml £10.95. It is also
available in a 950ml version (wow) for £23.95 which is very cost effective if
you know you like it.
“RITUAL is a shampoo designed to cleanse the hair,
leaving it fresh, full of shine and ready for styling”.
The shampoo comes in a 250ml squeeze tube which is purple in
colour. All of the products have an air of luxury about them,
Especially considering they’re only about £10 each to buy.
They will definitely make any bathroom look sexy.
The shampoo itself is transparent and really quite thick. It
lathers up really well, making a soft luxurious lather whilst washing away the dirt from your hair. The shampoo is
suitable for all hair types. Although I suffer from dry damaged hair, caused by
over dying and over styling – I am every hairdresser’s worst nightmare,
I found this shampoo extremely moisturising and detangling. My hair felt
squeaky clean but without the tangled mess it usually is if I don’t slap conditioner
on straight away.
The shampoo has a distinctive smell without being harsh or
overpowering. I think it has a ‘spa’ kind of smell. When you go to a spa for a
body treatment and they use lots of posh products; well I think that’s what a
shampoo version of it would be like. It has quite a masculine smell, which I
was quite surprised that I liked so much (I’m usually a flowery or fruity kind
of girl). The scent does last once your hair dries, but I wish it was a little
stronger, I love my hair to smell nice throughout the day.

HARMONY Intensive Care Treatment, 200ml £12.95, again this
is available in a huge 950ml for £25.95.
“HARMONY has been specially created to repair damaged
hair, using a unique combination of intensive conditioners that deliver an
instant transformation.
The difference in texture and appearance is truly stunning,
leaving hair shiny, healthy and manageable.
Directions: Massage
through wet hair for 3-5 minutes then rinse out thoroughly”.
Harmony comes in an ivory pearlised squeezy tube. It’s very
white in colour and doesn’t look dissimilar to moisturiser. It has a thick
consistency and isn’t runny at all. A little goes a long way with this. It
easy coats the ends of your hair and you can instantly feel its smoothing
affects. I tend to leave it on for a couple of minutes, same as my normal shampoo. I
would imagine you could leave this on longer maybe once a week for a more
intense treatment.
I was a little uncertain about whether I was using this
product correctly due to the name – I personally associate the name ‘ Intensive
Care Treatment’ with a treatment masque, that I’d apply maybe once a week. I’m
not sure whether I am seeing the full effects of the product if I’m using it
daily, maybe the Ritual Daily Conditioner would create a better
combination for daily us, and keep the Harmony for less regular use.
I absolutely love the smell of this. It has a light musky
smell which I can’t stop sniffing. It smells like an expensive salon treatment,
and leaves you hair amazingly soft and shiny. I am hugely impressed by the product, and
will buy it again as soon as it runs out. I feel like I’ve got new hair! I
can’t stop touching it.

 SILK Smoothing Blow-dry Balm, 200ml £11.95
“SILK puts an end to tangles and frizz. Hydrating wheat
protein complex provides moisture, balance and manageability.

The result: sleek,
straight and silky-smooth hair.

Directions: Apply
throughout towel dried hair to achieve sleek straight styles using a large
round brush to dry”.
Silk comes in an ivory pearlised container and again looks
very elegant and expensive. The product is white in colour and is a thick white
gel like consistency. Out of the three products I tried I like the smell of this one the
least, it’s by no means bad but isn’t as noticeable or as unique as the other
two. It smells like a weak version of the Harmony Scent.
Again you don’t need to use a lot of this product; about a
10p size in the palm of my hand is enough for my hair – which is just below my shoulders.
My hair does need product to help smooth its dry ends and
rectify the horrible split ends I’ve got, but I usually use a finishing serum
when I’ve dried and straightened my hair, so using the blow dry balm on damp was a new
experience for me.
I was impressed by how soft my hair felt after using the
three products, but my hair still felt amazing even when I just used the
shampoo and intensive treatment.
I have been using these products in a variety of
combinations and can both see and feel a noticeable difference to my hair.
My hair is soft and smooth and constantly smells like I’ve
just come out of the hairdressers.
I will definitely buy both the Ritual and Harmony again, and
I’m dying to try Glow – Super Shine Spray.

The products can be purchased online and in certain salons. Neal & Wolf currently have free delivery if you order online!

I was sent the products to test and review by the company. The opinions are my own and are honest.
