Price and Stockists

The sugar scrub is available online at greenpeople.co.uk and costs £19.99 for a 200g pot, which I will admit is quite expensive.

Packaging

The packaging is quite plain and simple. There’s isn’t a great deal to it, it’s a transparent tub with white screw lid.

My thoughts

The product is a sandy yellow colour with a rich, strong scent. It reminds me of sage and lavender. I think the smell is really relaxing.

The scrub seems to be a little on
the dry side. I found I had to add a little water to the product to be able to massage it in but after a minute or so it became much easier to work with.

I found the scrub quite abrasive and it was great on my feet, knees and elbows. I think it would be an amazing product to use before using false tan as the dead skin cells are just washed away.

The first time I used the scrub I found it left a strange waxy layer on my skin after washing the scrub off. Initially I wasn’t sure what I’d done wrong, and washed off the waxiness, but the next time I used it, I thought that it might be there for a reason, so I left it. I realised that this was extremely moisturising, especially on my feet.

Please be careful if you use this in the shower though if you don’t have a bath mat inside the bath, as it makes your feet extremely slippy!

Pro’s
  • Smells relaxing
  • Free from Parabens, phthalates,
    petrochemicals and artificial fragrances
  • Suitable for vegetarians
  • Great for rough and dry skin
  • A little goes a long way
  • Makes your skin feel extremely soft

Con’s

  • Quite expensive
  • Can make the bath/shower very slippy
  • Can take a little time to get used to

Overall

I love the effects of this. My skin feels very different. My feet feel soft and the dry skin has dramatically reduced on my heels.

I would buy this again and use it as a treat, as I do think it’s a little expensive.
