Treasuring everyday Moments – #WhatsYourX?

Since the little man was born I’ve realised just how quickly time passes by. Almost every day he does something new and amazing, things that I want to treasure forever. We’re lucky that we have camera phones nowadays so we can capture many of these X Moments, as Sony call them. They say that :-

An X Moment is a “split second in time that means something to you that’s here and then gone. It could be a baby’s first steps, achieving a personal goal, a sporting achievement, your dog’s whimsical expression, or just a random flash of happiness and hilarity. It’s a moment that you’d love to capture perfectly that’s all too missable if you, or your phone isn’t up to the job”.

Having a young child, it’s amazing to be able to record their daily changes and the funny things they do. I have pictures of the little man doing things for the very first time, videos of him seeing things for the very first time, memories than I can keep and look back on whenever I want.

I was lucky enough to catch the little mans very first steps with his walker. It was a blink and you’ll miss it kind of moment and it makes me so happy to know I managed to catch it on video and can keep it forever. It’s something I’ll treasure forever and something I love to watch back. I’m so grateful for technology during moments like this.

To support the launch of the new Xperia X phone, Sony are encouraging your to share your X Moment across social media. If you’d like to get involved, share some of your favourite moments on Twitter and tag in @SonyXperiaGB with the hashtag #WhatsYourX

This is a collaborative post with Sony Xperia as I am a member of the Mumsnet Bloggers Panel, a group of parent bloggers who have volunteered to review products, services, events and brands for Mumsnet.
