5 gift ideas for her

Now it’s November, I think it’s more appropriate to talk about the C word. Christmas is just around the corner and I already have an (unrealistic) list for Santa. If I’m honest, I’m easily pleased. I’d be just as happy with a new camera lens and a couple of hours peace and quiet as I would with a 5 star break somewhere and a Mulberry handbag (well maybe).

Here are some gift suggestions for the lady in your life.

Spa day

A spa day is always high up on my wish list. A day of complete peace and quiet, calming surroundings and a schedule of relaxing treatments. Bliss.

Theatre tickets

I love a good show and go regularly go to a cheap matinee with the girls. I’d love to be treated to a front row show at the West End in London, possibly combined with a posh hotel and a Michelin starrred restaurant visit.

Hotel stay

For me, a stay in a hotel ( without a child) is now a luxury. I’m a working mother and my time off is spent with the little man. I’d absolutely love an overnight stay, comfy pillows, a power shower and a lie in.

Subscription box

I love monthly subscription boxes. Whether it’ a foodie delivery or a range of beauty products, there are so many options available. Sensible Reviewer is great for checking out the best rated ones before you splash out on one.

Experience Day

Experience days are are great way to give your friend or loved on the chance to tick something off their bucket list. Whether it’s wing walking, a bungee jump or simply a make over, there’s something for everyone. I think it’s a much nicer way of giving the recipient an option without giving a bog standard gift voucher.
