Back into study with NCC Home Learning

I left school at 16 and rather than take up my A Level offer at a local college, I decided to start a Modern Apprenticeship at my local council. Within a week of being there I was offered a proper job and started a NVQ Level 3 in Business.

That’s where my addiction to learning started.

15 years and pages of qualifications later and I’m stuck. My last qualification – a Social Policy and Criminology degree ended when the little man was 8 weeks old and I’ve toyed with the idea of starting my masters degree for the last year or so but I honestly don’t think I have the time or motivation to commit at the moment, so I’ll probably pick up with my Masters when the little man has started school.

Saying that, that doesn’t mean I don’t want to learn something, so when I was asked if I’d like to try out a home learning course from NCC Home Learning, I jumped at the chance. The courses are online home learning courses so I can progress at my own pace, around the little man, work and everything else that takes up my time. NCC-Home-LearningNCC Home Learning have a huge range of courses available both online and paper based, in industry sectors such as beauty, business and childcare. After much deliberation I decided on something I thought would be relevant to my day job and something I have a keen interest in – Psychology of Criminal Profiling Diploma. The course is a 200 hour in-depth case study of some of the most notorious criminals in the world. It has modules focused on killers such as The Yorkshire Ripper, John Wayne Gacy and The Acid Bath Murderer and each module has tutor marked questions to be completed.NCC-Learning-dashboard

The course sounds really interesting and I can’t wait to get stuck into it. I’ll be doing it on an evening when I have some peace and quiet. Although it’s an online course where I’ll be studying at home I’ll still have tutor support by email and a whole 12 month to complete the course.

The course usually costs £340 but is currently on offer at £238 which you can be paid in full or over monthly installments.

You can keep up to date and look out for offers for NCC Home Learning by following them on Facebook and Twitter and it’s worth noting, there’s currently 30% off all courses!

I’ll update you  further into my course and let you know my experiences will NCC Home Learning and how I’ve found the course.

*I have been enrolled onto the course free of charge in return for an honest review.
