2015 is here already.
2014 was literally the quickest year of my life. The little man joined the scene and I spent 50 weeks on Maternity Leave. That ended on Friday the 2nd of January 2015 and I’m sad to say I’m now a full time working Mammy.
Rather than dwelling on what I’m missing out on I intend to enjoy and cherish every Ordinary Moment we share as a family this year.
Today we wrapped up warm and went to Hexham. Although it was freezing the sun was shining and the sky was blue. We wandered round the town, visited the Abbey and the little man was able to try out one of his Christmas presents.
Ah I hope back to work isn't too bad. I really love this post because I admire your positive attitude and the fact you will treasure the ordinary moments this year even more- that's what I plan to do myself as well. Happy New Year and lovely to find your blog. x
I was a full time working mummy for 6 months inbetween going back after LP and having Little Man. I spent the whole time exhausted but remember working for the weekends and loving the time I had with the kids outside of work. I'm now working part time and for us it's a better balance now we have two children. I look forward to reading more about you family time together x
