I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to test and review the Oriflame Triple Core 3D lipstick recently.
The lipstick uses a unique triple-core technology for an eye-catching 3D effect. The contrast of three shades in every lipstick means creating an illusion of fullness, shapeliness and amazing volume. It was released for sale on 8th June 2013.
It costs £10.95 on their website but is currently on offer for £7.95 directly from an agents shop on Ebay
It comes in 5 shades –
Nude peach
Coral pink
Red coral
Fuschia pink
Berry Pink
I was sent the red coral to try. I’m usually a Mac kinda girl. I like bright matt colours. This was something a little different.
The lipstick has three layers, an outer red layer, white centre layer with shimmering particles and a coral inner layer, it also has a pleasant fruity scent.
I found the lipstick pretty sheer but fantastically moisturising which is great for my dry lips. The pigment isn’t as bright as I’d usually go for and I found it a lot more like a lipgloss/lipbalm than a lipstick due to it’s moisturising effect. That’s not a bad thing by any means, just something I don’t usually go for.
I’d use this again, probably for work or as more a casual lip coating during the day.

i love it, my hair changes colour every week (so far this month it's been green, blue and flamingo pink) so something not too strong like a lipstick but without the sticky overshine of gloss would be perfect to suit all colours 🙂

Love the idea of a moustising lippy as i get very dry lips. Have to admit oriflame are fantastic. I brought a foundation of them last year and its still going!
