We try to make meal times as fun as possible, playing games and using fun, brightly coloured feeding tools. It encourages the little man to eat and make meal times less of a chore.
Since the little man started eating properly he’s always preferred more picnic style lunches. He prefers to pick at a variety of finger foods which he can pick up and eat himself rather than one main meal. The Munchkin Lil’ Apple plates are perfect for this.
They come as a pack of three with one yellow, one red and one green plate. Each plate is split into three sections with curved sides. They’re dishwasher and microwave safe and the apple stalk is also an easy grip handle for little hands.
Each section is big enough to hold a decent amount of food and there’s enough space to ensure food is not touching. I can’t believe how perfect the size was for the little mans mini fish and chips and side portion of tomato sauce!
They’re perfect for picnics or eating outside – which is what we’ve been doing a lot of lately. We’re been making the most of the beautiful North East sunshine and eating breakfast and tea outside most days.
I think the plates are great. I love the bright colours, the sturdy plastic design and they’re the perfect size for the little mans high chair tray, and sit flatly without any overlapping.
