I was recently given the opportunity to try an item of clothing or footwear from La Redoute’s SS14 collection. La Redoute are a French on-line shopping store who have a massive selection of clothes, shoes and accessories.
After spending ages (literally hours) trying to choose something I finally decided on these gorgeous lace up ankle boots.
I tend to wear ankle boots a lot, particularly during the day but I usually go for flat ones for comfort purposes. Obviously the boots I chose have a heel but it’s a relatively low 9cm heel and I thought something different and a little out of my comfort zone would make a nice change.
The boots are by Mademoiselle R and originally cost £99 but are currently on sale on the La Redoute website for £59.40. As well as the black colour you can pick them up in a rather attractive taupe shade.
Having previous bought clothing from La Redoute before I know that their clothes are stylish, chic and affordable. La Redoute’s Mademoiselle R brand had a variety of pieces including a classic breton top and French inspired summer dresses.
I love these boots. They’re funky and unusual but still comfortable enough for an aging Mother!
